Best of Korean Makeup Brands in Sephora

Korean companies make one of the best beauty products. Names like Tony Moly, Dr. Jart, and Amorepacific are already quite popular, but the Korean beauty world is spread much farther than this. Luckily, Dotfully members are giving away products from most if not all of these brands for free! Finders, Keepers. Click here to check us out!

Now, let’s indulge in 5 of the hottest Korean beauty brands.

  1. Tony Moly (age range 18-25, price range $)

The hipster brand for a younger demographic, Tony Moly is one of those privileged brand that is available at Sephora. So now you know it is not hard to get your hands on it. After Etude, Tony Moly tempts your shopaholic nature with their cutesy packaging. Have you checked out their Panda’ Dream Brightening Base & Bbo Bbo Lip Balm? It is cheap, cute and perfect for teens, though the brand tries to target all ages. Screen Shot 2015-04-10 at 11.47.28 AM

  1. Dr. Jart (age range 24 – 35, price range $$)

Already known for their ultra-famous, Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm, Dr. Jart is a mid-range brand comparable to the premium Tarte and Smashbox. It started as a drugstore brand in Korea but its amazing skincare and beauty products made it soar pretty high. Their famous BB cream provides good coverage and hydrating finish.

One of the biggest and most successful Korean skincare brands, Amorepacific is carried by major US stores including Sephora and Nordstrom. The brand is popular for using pure Asian ingredients like green tea, bamboo and red ginseng. It majorly targets female audience of 35 and older. Their Future Response Age Defense Creme is the answer to your aging woes, the gentle formula perfect for women in their 20s and above. The most popular brand of facial mask is “Mediheal”, which I also recommend. However, the best selling facial mask outside of Korea is “Olive Young”. Brand is comparable to SK II.

Thanks for the post! I bought the Tony Moly Peach Lip Balm and also the Lip Scrub which has pink lip- shaped packaging yesterday. Got them from a local drugstore. Found the Apple scrub too, but did not buy it. It is my first time using this brand of products as I wanted to jump on the Korean cosmetics bandwagon and give them a go. I paid slightly more than I usually would for these products (€7.50 each) but they are divine and the packaging is so cute! Have seen all the panda range products on the Sephora site, and will see if they, as well as the tissue face masks, are in stock in the store. Am from the UK, no idea where to get them there……..I have seen another brand (Etude House) and am coveting their cupcake eyeshadow :)
